Terms of Membership
The agreement between you and THE SET. when you join.
1 Joining
You must be 18 or over. You give us accurate information and keep your account details to yourself.
We verify your mobile number by SMS. Until it is verified you can sign in and look around, but you cannot reserve a place.
2 Membership
Member — created when you sign up. Access to event registration, Play DNA and Court Level.
Founding Member — limited to 200 numbered memberships. ฿50,000 for the first fifty places; ฿129,000 from the fifty-first. The membership runs one year; your founding number is permanent and stays yours whether or not you renew.
Exclusive Member — by invitation.
3 Coin, and refunds
Your balance is held in THE SET. Coins. One Coin equals ฿1 when spent with THE SET.; it does not guarantee redemption at ฿1. Coin lots, including purchases, refunds, promotions, rewards and compensation, expire 12 months after credit unless we expressly state otherwise. We use the oldest available Coin first (FIFO).
Coins cannot be transferred between member accounts or converted to cash, except for a monetary refund expressly available under the Refund Policy. Top-up and registration are separate transactions: a refund, cancellation or forfeiture affects only the value used for that registration, never unrelated Wallet Coins.
For an unused paid top-up, the 24-hour refund clock starts when payment is successful. Bank transfer and QR payments may receive a 100% monetary refund within that window. Where card payment becomes available, the corresponding refund is 95% for a full card payment and 90% for an instalment payment. After 24 hours, unused purchased Coins remain in the Wallet until used or expired.
For a paid registration, the Refund Policy determines whether the outcome is a monetary refund, a Coin return or forfeiture. Some refunds and Coin credits are currently processed by staff as a manual adjustment; this does not change the policy that applies.
If you end your membership mid-year, what you get back reflects what you have not yet used. Our team handles this case by case.
4 Sessions
A reservation is your commitment to play. PERFORM and SECURE are guaranteed places once registration and payment are complete, subject to the division, level, eligibility and tournament rules. ENTRY payment is an application only; the place remains pending until the Final Player List is published.
The cancellation outcome is based on the Payment Successful timestamp and the Tournament Date: within 24 hours, the monetary-refund rules apply; after 24 hours and more than 14 days before the Tournament Date, the value paid for that registration returns as Coins; 14 days or less before the Tournament Date, it is forfeited. Unrelated Wallet Coins remain untouched.
If you are short of Coin you can still reserve. Whatever you have is set aside, and we show you what is missing everywhere your place appears. Top up before last call, or the place is released and the Coin held comes back to you.
If you do not come, the payment is not refunded. Arrival more than 15 minutes after the scheduled match time in the Order of Play may result in a default loss and no refund.
We may change a venue, time or programme, and we will tell everybody holding a place. If we cancel, you receive a 100% monetary refund. If we reschedule, you may transfer to the new date, receive Coins, or receive a 100% monetary refund.
Sport carries a risk of injury. You take part at your own risk and should not play against medical advice.
5 Episode 01 level and tournament rules
Episode 01 uses self-rating. For competitive balance and group allocation, THE SET. may review and adjust a player's level by up to 0.5; that adjustment does not automatically cancel the registration.
Players must follow the published tournament format, match rules, Order of Play, division and level rules, venue rules, officials' decisions, safety requirements and official THE SET. announcements.
By completing payment, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms, the Refund Policy, and all applicable package and event conditions.
6 Your content, and our assistant
What you post stays yours. You give us permission to show it inside THE SET. so the club works. You must not post anything unlawful, abusive, or that is not yours to post, and we may remove it.
Our LINE assistant answers questions using our own material. It can be wrong, and it does not give medical, legal or financial advice. Anything about money, your membership or a booking is confirmed by a person.
7 Ending a membership, and liability
You may leave at any time by emailing contact@theset.life.
We may suspend or end a membership for a serious breach, for behaviour that harms other members, or for non-payment. We will tell you why. Where we end it without cause, we refund the unused part of the membership fee.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability we cannot exclude by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Thai law applies, and the courts of Thailand have jurisdiction.
