Terms of Membership
The agreement between you and THE SET. when you join.
1 Joining
You must be 18 or over. You give us accurate information and keep your account details to yourself.
We verify your mobile number by SMS. Until it is verified you can sign in and look around, but you cannot reserve a place.
2 Membership
Member — created when you sign up. Access to event registration, Play DNA and Court Level.
Founding Member — limited to 200 numbered memberships. ฿50,000 for the first fifty places; ฿129,000 from the fifty-first. The membership runs one year; your founding number is permanent and stays yours whether or not you renew.
Exclusive Member — by invitation.
3 Coin, and refunds
Your balance is held in Coin. One Coin is ฿1 when you spend it. From time to time we may give bonus Coin with a top-up.
Coin can be refunded only while your balance is unspent, and we return the baht you actually paid — never the bonus. Once you have spent any Coin, the balance is not refundable. Bonus Coin is not refundable and does not expire.
Coin set aside for a reservation has not been spent. Withdraw from the session before its deadline and it returns to your balance in full — an open reservation pauses a refund; it does not cost you the right to one.
If you end your membership mid-year, what you get back reflects what you have not yet used. Our team handles this case by case.
4 Sessions
A reservation is your commitment to play, and it holds your place. Where a session is paid, the Coin for it is set aside the moment you reserve — it stays yours, and unspent, until the official list is published.
You can withdraw at any time before last call, and the Coin comes straight back. After last call there is no exit: your place is set, and on the day the official list is published the Coin set aside is taken as payment. You are not asked again — reserving is what authorises that payment.
If you are short of Coin you can still reserve. Whatever you have is set aside, and we show you what is missing everywhere your place appears. Top up before last call, or the place is released and the Coin held comes back to you.
If you do not come, the place is still yours and the payment stands. It was held for you to the end, and nobody else could take it.
We may change a venue, time or programme, and we will tell everybody holding a place. If we cancel, you are refunded in full.
Sport carries a risk of injury. You take part at your own risk and should not play against medical advice.
5 Your content, and our assistant
What you post stays yours. You give us permission to show it inside THE SET. so the club works. You must not post anything unlawful, abusive, or that is not yours to post, and we may remove it.
Our LINE assistant answers questions using our own material. It can be wrong, and it does not give medical, legal or financial advice. Anything about money, your membership or a booking is confirmed by a person.
6 Ending a membership, and liability
You may leave at any time by emailing contact@theset.life.
We may suspend or end a membership for a serious breach, for behaviour that harms other members, or for non-payment. We will tell you why. Where we end it without cause, we refund the unused part of the membership fee.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability we cannot exclude by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Thai law applies, and the courts of Thailand have jurisdiction.
